Note:  I am not affiliated with HQ Trivia.  I happened to find out about this app and I just want to share HQ Trivia to everyone.

If you have been following my Instagram, you would know I just downloaded the HQ Trivia app.  HQ Trivia is a live trivia game show with cash prizes. The trivia game is held every day at 9pm EDT.  However, HQ Trivia also holds an addition game on weekdays ONLY at 3pm EDT so you could potentially win prizes TWICE if you play on the weekdays. 

I happened to find out about HQ Trivia when I saw this BuzzFeed video:

 

I thought I would give HQ Trivia a try as I think I am a smart person and not a bad idea to win some money from this right.

So here is how it work.

Since I have an Android phone, therefore I downloaded the HQ Trivia app on Play Store:

The installation did not take long and I clicked “OPEN” afterwards:

After I clicked “OPEN”, this page popped up:

Click “Get Started” and you would need to key in your cell phone number:

After, you would have to type in your verification code that is sent to you via text message:

After you would create a username and here you are:

So I did the 3pm game and there were more than 750,000 people playing.  THAT CRAZY!

Furthermore, there was a live host named Scott Rogowsky and in my opinion made the game more realistic!

 

Pursuing this further, the game had twelve questions.  The questions were decent but you only had ten seconds to respond.  As a result, you could potentially answer the questions wrong because you are under stress.   I think this was what happened to me as I got 

after the 4th question.

I stuck around to watch the whole game until the end.   At the end, more than 2,000 people got through all twelve question and they split the grand prize of

Each person won $1.25.   Ultimately, your money will be sent straight to your PayPal when you win over $20 in prizes.
