Coinsquare and QuadrigaCX – Where Canadians Can Buy and Sell Bitcoin, Ethereum and Crytocurrencies (Part 2).

Just a note: This is not an affiliate post.  I am writing this post just to show people where and how to invest in crytocurrencies.

Yesterday,  I mentioned I have chosen Coinsquare as my primary online digital currency exchange.

You may wonder why because users PAYS NO FEES for BUYING DIGITAL CURRENCY and they only pay 0.5% trading fee when you sell your digital currency on QuadrigaCX.

Well! Let’s take a look.

QuadrigaCX

QuadrigaCX, based in Vancouver, Canada, is a online digital currency exchange that allows users to buy and sell bitcoins on the open market.  Users are able to place buy and sell orders in the QuadrigaCX marketplace, where they sell to others users who are also looking to buy or sell.

To sign up for an account, you first have to fill in this form on QuadrigaCX’s website below and click “Continue”:

You now can choose your password and transaction PIN.  Then check the two boxes below and click “Continue”:

But you think you are done and can start trading?  NOT QUITE!

With QuadrigaCX, Instant EQUIFAX and ID & Address verifications have to be done in order to fund your account.  ID & Address verification is easy because all you have to do is to send them a picture of your government ID and your bank statement to prove your identity and address.  Instant EQUIFAX verification, on the other hand, is done by EQUIFAX and the company will attempt to access your credit file using your name, date of birth and address information provided.

Unfortunately, my EQUIFAX verification was unsuccessful. In fact,

I have sent QuadrigaCX two Support Tickets last week to have my EQUIFAX verification redone and still NO RESPONDS.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!

By the same token, I think QuadrigaCX only allows you to fund your account via INTERAC Online on purpose because Bank Wire is temporary unavailable, Electronic Funds Transfer is only available to users who are both ID & Address and EQUIFAX verified, Crypto Capital does not take Canadian dollar and Voucher is not sold ANYWHERE right now.

In fact, INTERAC Online only works for people who have the 13-digit debit card.

THIS IS TERRIBLE!

As much as I do not want to pay high fees for trading digital currency online,

I rather pay more money to get better customer service.

That’s why I chose Coinsquare over QuadrigaCX.  I hope I am right as I just mailed my bank draft yesterday and hopefully the money will be in my account next week.

Are you currently trading digital currencies right now? Which online digital currency exchange do you use?  Please post your comments below! Catch you on the flip side!

    1. They may have the problems you listed in the past, but now I think Coinsquare has improved their website to make it trader-friendly. Their customer service has improved as well. Live chat now is available to traders who have deposited over $25,000 into their Coinsquare account.
